Catherine Christie, MD, PhD, MPH

Dr. Catherine Christie completed her Pediatric Neurosurgical Fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. She was the recipient of the prestigious OHSU Campagna Fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery.


Dr. Christie received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California Berkeley, studied medicine at the University of California San Francisco, and obtained her Masters in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Christie studied gliomas, a type of brain tumor, during medical school, graduate school and residency, leading to numerous publications. She has worked with the latest technologies and advances in medication deliveries in treating neurosurgical disorders. Dr. Christie’s clinical interests include treating patients with spina bifida, pediatric brain tumors, vascular malformations, hydrocephalus, tethered spinal cord, and Chiari 1 malformations. Dr. Christie is dedicated to providing premiere neurosurgical care and making a child’s wellness her biggest priority.
