Brian Ng, PA

Pediatric Physician Assistant

Brian Ng is a licensed Physician Assistant with training in Pediatric Neurosurgery. He earned his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Fairleigh Dickinson University and completed his undergraduate education early at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where he majored in Cell Biology and Neuroscience and minored in Psychology.

Brian is committed to compassionate, family-centered care. His clinical interests were shaped by global health work in Oaxaca, Mexico, where he assisted physicians in rural clinics and spent time with children at the Centro de RehabilitaciĂłn Infantil TeletĂłn (CRIT). At CRIT, he worked closely with children with neurological and developmental challenges, strengthening his passion for pediatric care. These experiences deepened his dedication to caring for children with neurological and developmental conditions and reinforced the importance of empathy, cultural sensitivity, and clear communication.

While at FDU, Brian researched the connection between head trauma and long-term neurological effects of combat sports, reflecting his strong interest in brain health and evidence-based practice.

In pediatric neurosurgery, he focuses on guiding families through diagnosis, surgery, and recovery with clarity, patience, and a calm, approachable style.

Outside of medicine, Brian is an avid athlete. A former competitive swimmer for Scarlet Aquatics, he later served as a lifeguard and swim coach at the South Amboy YMCA. During his time at Rutgers, he founded an intercollegiate Roundnet club, bringing the same teamwork, discipline, and energy to his clinical work.
