Welcome to New Jersey Pediatric Neuroscience Institute.

We are committed to providing the very best in Pediatric Neurosurgical & Neurological Care for children and their families.

Appointments: Please call 973-326-9000 to schedule an appointment at any of our locations. Our staff is available to help you Monday – Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Emergencies will be seen as soon as possible, or referred to the Emergency Room, if need be. Cancellations should be called in at least 48 hours ahead of time. There is a no-show/rescheduling fee for missed appointments.

Medical Information: In order to provide the best medical care, we need our patient’s complete medical history. Please complete the medical history form found in the “New Patient Packet” before your office visit from our website if possible, and bring the completed form to the office on the day of your visit. We will also need all films, reports, insurance cards and a photo ID. It is imperative to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete and process the necessary paperwork. If by chance you might be a few minutes late, please make sure you contact our office as there may be a chance that we might have to reschedule.

X-RAYS, CAT Scans, MRI’s: It is your responsibility to bring copies of old film images on a CD disk. Check the CD disk and make sure it is readable, at home. If you cannot view the images, neither can we. Only scans done at Morristown, Overlook and Hackensack Hospitals are accessible on the web for our staff.

Consultation Charges: Payment is expected in full at the time of your visit. Please make sure that you have your insurance card(s) with you. You must have your referral or authorization for some HMO’s. Please check with your insurance carrier a week before your scheduled appointment to see if this is needed. If a referral is needed, you must obtain this from your pediatrician or specialist that has referred you. We submit all charges to your insurance company, but ultimately, you are responsible for the cost of the visit.

Please do not hesitate to talk to our staff about your insurance. If you have financial problems that indicate your need to be on a payment plan, our billing department will work with you. We feel an obligation to tell each and every patient our financial policy before the services are provided in an effort to avoid any miscommunication later.

Every minor child, under the age of 18, must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order to be seen by the doctor. It is against State law to provide services to a minor without a parent/legal guardian present.
