About Us

About New Jersey Pediatric
Neuroscience Institute

At New Jersey Pediatric Neuroscience Institute (NJPNI), we believe that every patient should receive exceptional and individualized treatment.
Our mission is to provide the best possible healthcare in the areas of childhood developmental disorders and pediatric neurological and neurosurgical diseases. We seek to improve your child’s health and quality of life by delivering expeditious and accurate diagnoses along with a comprehensive array of surgical and nonsurgical therapeutic options.

Family involvement, support, and education are critical to a child’s understanding of their illness, treatment of and recovery from that illness. We understand that the entire family is affected by childhood illness and that the needs of each family, like each child, are unique.

We believe that by working together, with patients and their families, our neurosurgeons, neurologists, ancillary healthcare providers, therapists, and orthotists deliver the best care in the world. We treat every child, and every family, as our own and our patients’ lives have become an important part of our lives.

By sharing their stories with you we hope that you may better understand the type of care we provide at NJPNI.

Throughout the world, children with neurologic, developmental, psychological, and psychiatric problems are suffering. Care gaps exist for many different reasons. Maybe it’s because parents or family miss the diagnosis and don’t recognize an issue. Perhaps the child’s pediatrician did not identify a diagnosis, or it wasn’t brought to their attention. Other times, the child falls through the cracks and there is no follow-up or preventive medical care at all.

Innovative pediatric and neurological care can help these children. Since 2009, New Jersey Pediatric Neuroscience Institute (NJPNI) has provided comprehensive, holistic, multi-, interdisciplinary and collaborative care for children and their families. We see children with many different diagnoses: from severe cerebral palsy and traumatic brain or spinal cord injury to children with headaches or mild autism spectrum disorder. We always try to help the whole family succeed by facilitating care plans and providing a medical home for children with neurological, neurosurgical, or developmental needs.

Our team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and specialists provide care throughout New Jersey and New York. We have several offices in New Jersey, and we provide telehealth visits and consultations. We are happy to provide the second or even third opinions and can see children in an expedited fashion when necessary.

We become strong advocates for your children and have provided advice and guidance to schools, teams, and others involved in developing care plans for special needs children. The genetic and neuropsychological tests, if recommended, are typically done in our offices. When needed, we recommend imaging studies that are accurate and necessary to diagnose or rule out a specific condition. We are loved and rated highly by our patients and invite you to check us out on Google, Facebook, or Instagram.
