Our Team

Tia Davis, LCSW, ADHD-CCSP

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Tia Davis is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in executive function coaching for children and adolescents with ADHD, as well as parent training at the New Jersey Pediatric Neuroscience Institute. She holds a master’s degree in social work from Long Island University and is an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP).

Before focusing her practice on ADHD and executive function coaching, Tia worked as a clinician providing therapy for individuals, couples, and families. These experiences gave her a strong foundation in addressing the diverse needs of children, adolescents, and their families, with a special focus on supporting those living with ADHD.

In her current role at NJPNI, Tia provides executive function coaching to assist children and adolescents in managing the unique challenges associated with ADHD. Executive functions are the mental skills that include planning, organization, time management, and self-regulation. She works collaboratively with children and adolescents to help them understand their challenges and develop tailored strategies that promote independence, academic success, and improved quality of life.

Tia also provides parent training, empowering parents with effective strategies to support their children. This often includes teaching positive reinforcement methods (praise and rewards) for appropriate behaviors and guidance on setting consistent limits to address more difficult behaviors. By partnering with parents, Tia ensures that families feel confident, supported, and equipped with practical tools to foster growth at home and in school.

Her philosophy of care is centered on collaboration, empowerment, and individualized support. Tia believes that every child has unique strengths, and her goal is to help families recognize and build upon those strengths while addressing challenges with patience and compassion.
