SONS/AAP Webinar April 8th 6:30pm - 8:20pm

aap 1 | New Jersey Pediatric Neuroscience Institute

American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) / Section on Neurological Surgery (SONS)
Discussion: We’re in this Together!
Wednesday April 8, 6:30-8:00pm ET

Description: During this SONS webinar, a diverse group of domestic and international presenters will
provide a COVID-19 update; discuss strategies specific to pediatric neurosurgery at their healthcare
facilities; and share lessons learned during this extraordinary time. COVID-19 has become the impetus for
change, in how we delivery healthcare, in how we educate house staff, and in how we communicate with
patients and colleagues. We hope to help pediatric neurosurgeons navigate, lead, and care for their
patients during these uncertain hours, days, weeks, and possibly even months, by providing practical
guidance, support and networking opportunities, and innovative ideas. In moments of crisis, what we do,
what we say, and how we carry ourselves will be remembered, and define us as a specialty.
