Charles Borgen, PsyD

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Charles Borgen is a clinical psychologist at New Jersey Pediatric Neuroscience Institute (NJPNI). Dr. Borgen obtained his Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Yeshiva University and completed his Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and his Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical and School psychology at Kean University. Dr. Borgen completed training in a variety of settings during his graduate training, including: a public school, a private special education school, an outpatient hospital setting, and a university-based clinic. Dr. Borgen completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Matheny School and Medical Center in Peapack, NJ, an inpatient hospital and school for individuals with complex medical conditions and developmental disabilities; he completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Westchester Institute for Human Development, participating in the LEND program (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities).
