Sasha Zephyr, DNP, FNP-C

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Sasha is a proud Haitian American with over 12 years of experience in emergency nursing, primarily in pediatric emergency care. She began her career at Clara Maass Medical Center in 2013 and later joined University Hospital in Newark to provide care to the people in that community, deepening her dedication to serving diverse and underserved populations. She has also worked in high-acuity pediatric emergency settings through multiple agency assignments across New Jersey.
Sasha earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Rutgers University. Her doctoral project, Increasing Dysphagia Screening for Neurological Patients in the Emergency Room, reflects her commitment to improving clinical outcomes through evidence-based practice. Her experience caring for critically ill children in emergency settings inspired her passion for pediatric neurology.
Outside of work, she enjoys time with her daughter, fiancé, and family, traveling, and embracing spontaneous adventures.
