Our Team

Nirmala (Nimi) Kotha, RN, MSN, FNP-BC

Family Nurse Practitioner

In 2025, Nimi brought her extensive knowledge and outstanding treatment skills to the NJPNI Team, where she evaluates and manages conditions such as ADHD, autism, developmental delays, tic disorders, and seizures.

Nimi gained much of her 30 years of experience in Cardiac and Pediatric Critical Care at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. There, she managed critically ill patients with complex, multi-system conditions. Known for her collaborative approach, she worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Her commitment to advancing clinical practice and knowledge sharing is reflected in her numerous invitations to speak at professional conferences. Furthermore, she has been recognized for her contributions to nursing excellence, including receiving the prestigious DAISY Award for extraordinary compassionate care.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Pace University in New York, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating cum laude.

Outside of work, Nimi finds joy in gardening and traveling, appreciating the balance and perspective they bring to her busy professional life.
